SAKURA medium documents

SAKURA is fully synthetic and does not contain peptones, hydrolysates, or undefined components. It is a clean, fully defined culture medium specifically designed for E. coli, making it ideal for bacterial processes aimed at producing sensitive proteins at large scale.

Despite being chemically defined, SAKURA offers high protein expression that are comparable to, or even higher than, those of conventional E. coli media with yeast extract. Its defined nature ensures excellent reproducibility between batches.
